Newstar Chemicals (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1999. The co-founder of the company, who previously invented, developed and field-tested the full product range in the UK returned to South East Asia 18 years later to set up a manufacturing plant for the Hartindo range of Anti Fire Chemicals.

For the past 60 years Asia has depended on imported fire extinguishing chemicals from the West, mainly the USA and Europe for all their fire fighting requirements. Newstar Chemicals has broken this chain and is proud to be the first company in Asia to produce and export fire fighting chemicals:
